These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of WaterExamPrep.com and the educational services, practice exams, study materials and related features available through the website.
WaterExamPrep is operated by Stanislav Sorokin, self-employed, Cyprus. Questions about these Terms may be sent to [email protected] .
By using WaterExamPrep, creating an account or purchasing access, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Purpose of WaterExamPrep
WaterExamPrep provides educational materials and practice tools for people preparing for water and wastewater operator certification examinations.
The service may include:
- free Study Guide materials;
- free Sample Exams;
- paid Full Practice Exams;
- progress tracking;
- completed exam history;
- review of practice attempts;
- other educational and account features.
2. Independent Educational Resource
WaterExamPrep is an independent exam preparation service.
WaterExamPrep is not the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection or any certification examination provider unless expressly stated otherwise.
References to government agencies, certification programs, examination names or official materials are provided for identification, educational and informational purposes.
3. No Guarantee of Exam Results
WaterExamPrep is designed to assist with preparation, but purchasing or using the service does not guarantee that you will pass a certification examination.
Exam requirements, question distributions, regulations, reference materials and certification procedures may change. You are responsible for confirming current requirements with the appropriate certification authority.
Practice questions are educational preparation materials. They should not be assumed to be actual questions from a certification exam.
4. Free Content
Certain WaterExamPrep content may be available without payment, including portions of the Study Guide and Free Sample Exams.
We may update, expand, reorganize or discontinue free features as the service develops.
5. Accounts
Some features require a WaterExamPrep account. You are responsible for providing accurate information and maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You may not knowingly provide another person with access to your account or allow multiple unrelated users to share a paid account.
If you believe your account has been compromised, contact [email protected] as soon as reasonably possible.
6. Paid Access
Paid products provide access to the examinations and features identified on the relevant pricing or checkout page.
The price, currency, included exams and access period shown at the time of purchase form part of your purchase terms.
Current products may provide access for a fixed period, such as 180 or 365 days, depending on the product purchased.
Access begins according to the terms displayed during checkout and the successful processing of the purchase.
Paid access is personal to the purchaser and associated user account. It may not be resold, transferred, sublicensed or commercially shared.
7. Payments
Prices are displayed before purchase.
Payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider. The payment provider may collect and process payment information according to its own terms and privacy practices.
WaterExamPrep does not intend to store complete payment card numbers on its own servers.
A purchase is considered successfully paid when WaterExamPrep receives confirmation of successful payment from the applicable payment provider.
8. Refunds and Withdrawal Rights
Refund requests are governed by the WaterExamPrep Refund Policy .
Our voluntary refund policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under applicable law.
Where applicable law provides a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract or imposes special requirements for immediate access to digital content or digital services, those rights and requirements remain applicable.
9. Educational Content
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate, useful and current educational material.
However, educational content may contain errors, omissions or information that later becomes outdated. Regulations, examination structures and technical standards can also change.
If you identify a possible error, you are encouraged to report it through the site's feedback system or by contacting support.
10. Acceptable Use
You may use WaterExamPrep for your own lawful educational and exam preparation purposes.
You may not:
- copy, reproduce or republish substantial portions of WaterExamPrep question banks, Study Guide content or other proprietary material without permission;
- systematically download, scrape, crawl, harvest or extract question banks or other content;
- use automated tools to collect WaterExamPrep content except where expressly permitted;
- sell, distribute, sublicense or create an unauthorized competing question bank from WaterExamPrep content;
- share paid account credentials with unrelated users;
- attempt to bypass access controls, payment restrictions or security measures;
- interfere with the website, servers, database or other users;
- use the service for fraudulent, unlawful or abusive purposes.
11. Intellectual Property
Except where identified as third-party or public source material, the WaterExamPrep website, original text, question banks, organization, software, design and other original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Purchasing access gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the purchased WaterExamPrep features during the applicable access period.
A purchase does not transfer ownership of the website, question banks, software or educational content to you.
12. Sources and Third-Party Materials
WaterExamPrep may refer to statutes, regulations, government publications, manuals, technical standards or other third-party sources.
Ownership of third-party materials remains with their respective owners.
Links to external websites are provided for convenience or reference. WaterExamPrep does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their availability, content, security or privacy practices.
13. Service Availability
We aim to keep WaterExamPrep available and reliable, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
The website may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, infrastructure failures, security incidents or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If a technical problem prevents us from providing purchased access, contact support. Refunds for situations where purchased access cannot be provided are addressed in our Refund Policy.
14. Suspension or Termination
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, investigate suspected fraud or abuse, respond to a security problem or address a serious violation of these Terms.
We will not use this provision to remove legitimate paid access arbitrarily.
Where appropriate and reasonably possible, we may provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WaterExamPrep is provided without a guarantee that use of the service will produce a particular examination, licensing, employment or professional result.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WaterExamPrep and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising solely from the use of, or inability to use, the service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
16. Privacy
Information about how WaterExamPrep processes personal information is available in our Privacy Policy .
17. Changes to the Service
We may improve, update or modify WaterExamPrep over time, including its interface, educational materials and practice functionality.
Material changes should not deprive an existing purchaser of the essential paid access already purchased without an appropriate remedy.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the service, business practices or applicable requirements.
The current version will be published on this page with the date of the latest update.
Where a change materially affects an existing paid relationship, we will take reasonable steps to provide appropriate notice where required.
19. Governing Law
To the extent permitted by applicable law, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus.
This choice of law does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections that cannot be waived under the law applicable to them.
20. Resolving Problems
If you have a problem with a purchase, account or the service, please contact us first so that we have an opportunity to resolve it.
Nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising rights or using dispute resolution procedures available to you under applicable law.
